Owners Britta & Dominick

Britta and Dominick are life-long Alaskans who are excited to provide assisted living services in Homer, Alaska. Nordic Living is a family operation.

Britta Frank, BSN, RN

Owner/Administrator

Britta, a registered nurse has worked in hospital, clinical, and nurse management since 2013. She was nominated for Alaska March of Dime’s Nurse of the Year in 2019 for OB/GYN Case Management. Britta oversees the medical care of Nordic Living’s residents by collaborating with medical providers, residents, and family members.

She is delighted to share “life’s everyday experiences” with the resident’s of Nordic Living—trimming the Nordic Living Christmas tree with the help of her young daughters, or planting flowers on the deck with residents.

Dominick Frank

Owner/Maintenance Manager

Dominick is a geologist by education and maintenance manager by day. He has worn many hats over the years—working in rural Alaska as a project engineer for airport relocation, seawall reconstruction, and geotechnical investigations throughout the state. He manages Nordic Living’s house maintenance and safety program. Dominick enjoys grilling moose burgers and catching fresh seafood to share with the residents of Nordic Living. He can often be spotted around town picking up supplies for home improvement projects.

Andee

Manager & Care Provider

Andee shares her calming energy and attention to detail with the residents and staff of Nordic Living. Her kindness is contagious.
